The PCT Volton Combi Relay has been designed to switch a live 12 volt input feed to supply the supplementary socket on the vehicle’s caravan. This unit stops the drain of the vehicles battery when the ignition is turned off as the relay senses the voltage of the vehicle and switches off. It also switches itself on when the vehicle starts up and reaches the required voltage.

Audible relays buzz in time with the vehicle’s indicators when connected. It is a legal requirement to have either a visual or audible monitor fitted so the driver is aware that the indicators are working on a trailer or caravan.
Charging relays are suitable for 12S electrics and will charge a caravan leisure battery and/or power the fridge, while the vehicle is running. It also protects the vehicle battery from drain when the engine is turned off.
